La Quintana del Caleyo is a fine example of an Asturian country house from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, part of Asturian cultural heritage. The whole estate is comprised of the impressive country house itself; the chapel of San Lorenzo, dedicated to Our Lady of El Caleyo; a large 'panera' or elevated granary, dating from 1730, and a smaller 'panera' with six 'pegollos' or supports; a smaller house and barn; a typical old Asturias dovecot and an inviting, attractive entrance courtyard, set in three and a half hectares of land, including meadows and chestnut forests.

The house has been restored with great care, retaining the original structure, beams and walls, and much of the over-two-centuries-old original chestnut floor and using fine materials of the area, including chestnut wood, local stone and lime. Beautiful antique Asturias furniture enhances the ambience and makes La Quintant a country house hotel dedicated to the comfort and enjoyment of its guests.

The hotel is situated close to Camuño, a typically rural Asturian village, in the municipality of Salas and part of the 'Comarca Vaqueira'.

The accommodation in the hotel consists of eleven double rooms, all with panoramic views: seven double rooms, 1 single room and three superior doubles. All rooms have central heating, a safe and there is a hairdryer in the en-suite bathroom.

The hotel has two reception rooms with capacity for 30, a bar, dining room, garage and gardens. It also have some Wi-Fi rooms and areas.
